Thomas Anderson - Parents?

This has been discussed before but does not seem to be settled.
He is showing in the About (still or again) as the son of Robert Anderson and Cecilia Massie.

Two years on. I had forgotten about this Discussion.

Thomas Anderson paternal 7th great grandfather.
his child Ann Allen (Anderson) maternal 7th great grandmother.

Meaning direct descendant on both sides.

I am comfortable with the maternal line. The paternal is not one I have researched. Only discovered here on Geni and then they showed in my DNA matches when I began working on them at Ancestry from here as a guide.
I came across them AGAIN recently because I was chasing a DNA match.
