Two individuals have been consolidated into one person in this profile. Johan George Meyer, who appears in German Church records available at Ancestry.com and familysearch.org, as Hans Jerg Maier with wife Sibylla, Hanss Jerg Mayer with wife Sybilla and Jerg Mayer with wife Sybilla had three children baptized in Heutsingham, Neckarkries, Wuerttemberg, Germany, Johann Georg in 1725, Christian in 1727 and Maria Sarah in 1729. They are his only known children. There is a marriage in Tulpehocken, Lancaster Co., PA, for John George Mayer and Catarina Zerwe in 1746, which may be the Johan Georg born in 1725, but that can't be proved. Some reliable sources say that he married (2) Catherine (Kimball) Evans after 1773 in NC and that she is the wife Catherine named in his will in 1799. The 1799 will is definitely for Johan Georg born in 1725. His chIildren listed by valid researchers are George Myers, John Myers, Johann Jacob Myers, Susanna Myers, Peter Myers, Catharine Myers, Charles Myers, Maria Margaretha Myers, Sarah Myers, and Christian Myers. They are listed in his will as John George, John, John Jacob, Peter, Charles, Susanna, Margaretha, Catharina, Sarah and Christian. There are marriage records and cemetery records for most of them in what is now Davidson Co., NC>

I am deeply sorry your corrections have not been addressed until now, but even more deeply grateful for your posting.

Please take a look now and let us know if there are any other enhancements needed.

Geni member Private User has been instrumental in working to get the top two generations in order, so she needs both our heartfelt thanks as well.

To verify my thought, you didn’t post any origins beyond the baptisms, so I take it there is no current validation for parents of either John George Meier or his wife Sibylla Meier
