Both of my grandparents on my mothers side were adopted and I can not seem to find any information. Can someone help with how to research this? Census reports have my grandfather born in New Hampshire, Rhode Island and New York. I tend to believe New York is mostly likely the right state due to the fact that is on his Military draft card. I have been told those records are sealed forever even when all parties have passed away. My other problem is that I live in Oregon so I can not go to a physical place to find things out. I have even less information about my grandmother. I do not even know her maiden name yet. I have done DNA testing to try and help but so far no luck.

Help or suggestions in anyway would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Billy,
I massaged you earlier but, should have sent more information.
Here is what I know about our aunt who was given up for adoption that might possibly be a match to your grandmother.
She was born between 1945-1948 in Alameda California. Her birth parents are Margaret Anderson and Ray or John Freeman. Though I imagine it was a closed adoption so, you knight mot have that info?
She would be of Icelandic, English, Scottish, Irish dissent.
Most likely have an auto immune disease as my mother and her other 2 siblings all have/ had various auto immune diseases.
She most likely had very white blonde hair as a child and blue or green eye. I would love to see a picture of your grandmother as all of our family looks quite a bit alike.

Fingers crossed!

If your mother is still alive, get her DNA results out to as many sites as possible.

So sorry!
Which sites do you have DNA at?
Are there any siblings of your mother still alive?
