Archibald "Bear"Tolley was related to my ex-husband, Arthur Lee Tolley of Big Island, Bedford, Virginia. He currently lives in Forest, VA
Here is the lineage:
Ezekiel Archibald Tolley(1785-1858) married Mary A. Markham(1795-1865). Two of their children were Bear Tolley and my ex-husband's ancestor Ezekiel Dabney Tolley(1828-1905) married to Martha Jane Coleman(1827-1916). One of their daughters was Virginia Amanda Tolley(1857-1942) who married Silas Henry Goff(1846-1931). Their daughter Sallie Martha Goff(1890-1948) married George Washington Tolley(1882-1967). One of their children was Wheeler Hewins Silas Tolley(1911-2003) who married Lizzie Myrtle Farley(1916-2002). One of their children is Arthur Lee Tolley(1945-) who is my ex husband. I do have a family tree on Geni. Not sure how you could access it, but I have a ton of names and also a colorized photo Bear Tolley and other information about him. Bear Tolley actually served in CSA(Confederate Army) from 1861-1863. I'll be happy to share whatever information I have with you.
