Thanks! I have never seen the "B." in any docs about her. Wonder where the proof is? I'm going to delete it...if not proved/sourced, does not equal a fact.

Now the Question becomes: who are Lucy's correct parents?

I believe Lucy's parents are well documented. Her father was Robert Mann b 7 Feb 1731/32 Bristol Parish, Henrico Co, VA; d will probated 17 Feb 1780, Halifax Co, VA. He m Phoebe Vaden c 1753. She b c1735 ?VA?, d before 15 Dec 1791. Phoebe m#2 Moza Hurt 18 Apr 1782, Halifax Co, VA. In Moza's will dated 15 Dec 1791 Phoebe is not named, so it may be assumed she was dead by then.

Robert's line goes...his father was Francis Mann ?b 1686? d per will1753 Amelia Co, VA m Elizabeth Page ?b c1704?. Father of Francis was Robert Mann ?b c1642? d per will 10 May 1712 Henrico Co, VA m ?1670? to Isabel Griffin dau/o Robert Griffin. Father of Robert was (another!!) Robert Mann, who m Elizabeth Byworth. I have not found good sources for the last Robert and Byworth though.
