She was alive as of September 16, 1827, when she was named godmother to her grandchild, Jean Baptiste Mius. On October 17, 1835, she declared her husbands death in front of Jean Mande Sigogne. She was living with her son Anselme "Samuel" as of the 1871 census, listed as "Margarit Bouchie" aged 93.
