I think Mel Werbach's ridiculous gedcom upload has messed up this area pretty badly.

When was that? What's wrong?

Randy Schoenberg,

It has done some damage to the tree.

I am working on fixing an area of it right now.

I fixed part of it. For example, Rosa Loew is NOT a daughter of Chaim HaKohen HaCohen Katz

Ah. Good work!

I just got the duplicates out around Dina and have sent them off for removal by Mike.

Randy -

Where did you get that data?

Not from my tree, as my upload only lists Mordechai Gershon Katz, NOT Rosa Loew, as the child of Chaim HaKohen Katz (1440-1509).

I wonder if the upload was somehow contaminated at Geni. Hopefully Geni did not make other errors in integrating my data.

If you find any other obvious errors, I'll be glad to tell you what I actually entered.

My apologies, Mel Werbach, it was the ridiculous gedcom upload by Geoffrey (Ephry) Michael that caused the Rosa Loew problem, but it was apparently triggered by your ridiculous upload of her husband Rabbi Shmuel ben Bezalel Loew, [of Hessen].

There is simply no reason why anyone would knowingly import a gedcom of these 400-year-old people after we have already corrected and greatly improved this area of the tree over the past 10+ years.

Similarly there is a big mess around Isaac Ashkenazi Luria which you added on May 26 for no apparent reason.

Randy Schoenberg,

That one has already been extracted out and only now needs to be removed by Mike.

I've already asked to remove it for us.
