It appears that almost EVERY single genealogy posted to GENI.com is rife with inaccuracies and inconsistency. Maiden names are almost always incorrectly linked, and with every posted generation further into history, the tree becomes indiscernible from actual TRUTH. I will no longer trust ANY information from professed genealogists connected to GENI.com and will be removing any links in my tree beyond my personal knowledge of said persons. This site is absolutely preposterous for any sane and reliable research. When using Wiki Tree or GENI.com for any sort of viable research, you are setting your research up for absolute failure in so much as "Anyone can edit Anything" to create their own reality. A "Master Profile"? Really? Seriously?

You find the close account when you, as with all sites with a login by clicking your own name at the top find the account settings.

Please with advice: removing information without agreement with the profile managers is considered as vandalism and be prepared to be aske for documentation yourself.

Thank you, I am aware of the "Close Account" process. I find that "incorrect or inconsistent" information is rampant on the trees in GENI. Sorry to have pointed this out. People randomly attach information without documentation and I don't believe a true genealogy enthusiast should do that. If I find inconsistencies in my own tree on my other sites, then I correct them. If someone else points out said inconsistency, I research and fix it. I don't take it as an insult. GENI tends to perpetuate these mistakes by not properly showing "maiden" names as primary and it's format can make tree continuity near impossible as a result in further generations back. Case in point the "Hanna" in this thread. I believe if you were to review it, then it will support my statements. Thank you.
