Attached in the Media section is a copy of what was called in my family "The Hurry Book", or to give it its proper name, "Memorials of the Family of Hurry of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and of America, Australia, and South Africa", authored by Thomas Hurry-Houghton, published by C. Tinling & Co. Ltd, Liverpool England, 1926. A copy of this book is in my possession (as of July 2020) given to me by Theo Overman many years previously. The book was digitized by Axel Horns. Few copies remain and the one I have is not in good condition.
I have placed it here for anyone who is interested in Charles David Tolme (1792-1872) or his several siblings, all of whom descended from the Hurry line through their mother Mary Susannah Hurry, wife of David Tolme (1753-1825). Between pages 52 and 65 there is much useful information on the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Charles David Tolme and his wife Maria Eliza Peneke..
