Warrick Hockaday's Mulatto Children aka American Indian - continued

Aug 11, 1759

Provisions for them to protect them, they had to be placed as servants.

William Hockaday and his Mulatto Children aka American Indian Children with Margaret Macklin - they were considered Bastards in the eyes of the American Colonies and The Church- In his Estate they had to be made servants to protect them they were listed as Mulatto (mixed blood not Anglo-Saxon or European) aka American Indian.

His wife or rather the mother of children listed as Margret Macklin -- this is a legal document

1. Thomas Macklin Hockaday
2. Winnefrit Macklin Hockaday
3. Lucretia Macklin Hockaday

I understand the daughter's names, they could have 2-3 names, the wife and mother not even close over the years she was changes to Mary Molly (Tashapiathacho) -- I would lean toward my Mississippi Brister cousin's research which they never had Tashapiathacho- as her last name-

I trust true documents over fairy tales.

Mistake moving to his brother William, so sorry

This was Warrick's Great Uncle William Hockaday and his Indian Wife

I moved the document over --

I also updated Warrick Hockday's death date to match burial records of Christ Church Cemetery.

Thank you, @Suzan Martin, for tackling the complications around this tree. I'm not going to be able to contribute anything, so I'll just admire from a distance (the ancestors of my unce, Elwood Scott Chapman).

Why did we disconnect John Warrick and John Hockaday and Mary Hockaday (Mohun) without documentation or a discussion to prove the linage change?

I worked the lineage all the way to England and have been adding documentation. Probated Wills etc, which are disapearing .... I will upload them again.

Warrick Hockaday's father was John Warrick, mother Mary Mohun-

I don't see docs proving it was William Franklin Hockaday - odd use of name for that time period. Didn't know we had middle names in mid 1600s.

Have all docs uploaded
Starting with William Hockaday

then to

John Armistead Hockaday

to his son

John Hockaday

that traces to Warwick/ Warrick all land deeds and plenty of documentation all that prove Warrick was the son of John Hockaday.

Don't see one Court document or land deed binding Warwick with the new parents that were added.

Also, no discussion was started ahead of time, or evidently any of the documents followed.

Please put Warrick back with his correct parents, thank you.
