no baptism, but as stated on her profile she is the daughter of WSP SCHOOMBEE, as can be seen in his distribution here:

However, on that Anna Susanna mother's DN, provided here:

she is married to a G Schoombee not a CH Schoombee which for me provides strong evidence that it was two different Anna Susanna's marrying two different Schoombee's. and the merge on 10 July was incorrect.

Furthermore, both would support that the daughter of WSP and NAUDE was not a widow in either 1930 and 1934, that she was married to a G SCHOOMBEE still living, whilst CH SCHOOMBEE deceased in 1918.

Taking all into consideration therefore the merge was incorrect and we have two different Anna Susanna SCHOOMBEEs. The one with the gravestone has unknown parents.

ouch, I stand corrected, located the baptism and she was indeed this daughter as the date of birth and place ties up directly,

so not the daughter of unknown.

Nevertheless, profile merges can create havoc. Often, when you merged, you often have to merge that person's ancestors too, back to Adam and Eve. I seldom do it and rather hyperlink the 2 profiles and make notes that it may be the same person, or in fact is the same person. Usually merges can only be done after some preparatory edting is done to make them more or less identical. Otherwise you may land up with one person being married twice to his or her spouse and other problems!
