The profile has Elizabeth’s mother as Martha; it should be Elizabeth. Elizabeth was born in 1653; Martha married in 1655. See https://archive.org/details/seamanfamilyinam00seam/page/n53/mode/2up

You're right, according to this well-researched family history, the captain had 5 children with his first wife (Elizabeth Strickland) and 11 children with his second wife (Martha Moore). Elizabeth Jackson was the daughter of Elizabeth (Strickland) and Capt. John Seaman. John Seaman was also her son.

I have lately realized that it wasn't unusual for couples of that era to have a son named "Jonathan" AND a son named "John". Evidently there was a significant enough difference between the two names which to me always sounded very similar.

Also, this MP has Martha (Moore) as the mother of 16 children (she had eleven).

I'd like to see Elizabeth Strickland's parentage and family connections included, as well.
