my searches have Sarah Ann James as born about 1738 in Prince William, Stafford, Virginia. Her death date is 11 Sep 1841 making her 103. but in recent searches I can not find her
Find a grave shows her listed as wife of Daniel Shumate and there is also a Sarah Ann Bowley showing as his wife this family is giving me plenty of trouble looking for the correct marriage.
I found a will that states Sarah Ann James as wife of Daniel Shumate and that does not match what I see in my online searches
