I had my DNA tested by Crigenetics.com and they told me I'm related to this actress..FAMOUS PEOPLE SHARING MY mtDNA Haplogroup (Mother Lineage). This was a surprise because I recognize Eva Langoria from her movies, etc. Laura Petersen from Vancouver, Canada

You may be able to copy your raw data from that site and upload on Geni.

mtDNA have thousand of years between each mutation, so your common maternal ancestor could be several thousand years away. Long before any genealogical evidence could be present. So Eva Longoria could be your 350th cousin or whatever.....
