Henry Gray - Henry H. Gray's parentage

Henry Gray So far, of all the records I've seen regarding this Henry's parentage, not one has been able to officially make the connection between "this" Henry H. Gray (1819/20, New York) and William H. Gray (1802-1885, Brooks Gap, Rockingham County, Virginia) as his father. All the trees that I've seen which show them as father and son appear to be basing that relationship solely on the family trees of other members (in Ancestry.com), and, as those trees also have no documentary proof of a parent/child connection, they could be basing a large portion of their tree on false data. We need ACTUAL DOCUMENTS (i.e, Birth, Death, Wills) to support this relationship. Does anyone have documents of this kind to prove this relationship?
