Shalom.
My mother z"l was in this orphanage, till her Aliyah in 1940.
Could you help me to find information about the orphanage and about Isidor and Rosa Marx who saved many children from the Nazis, but unfortunately, Tante Rosa (so she was called by the children) was like Yanush Korchak (Janusz Korczak‏;), and deported to Auschwitz with the children who left in the orphanage.

I am interested to follow your results and wish you luck ... but my family left Frankfurt in the 1830’s when four young children were orphaned and they left Frankfurt to start new lives in different countries with distant relations Salomon Schlomo Neugass

Hello Elisheva, I am afraid I can’t be of help to you. My family were busy escaping Germany at this time, some did not survive, others made it to the four corners of the world.
I know some names and dates of my own ancestors but not Isidor or Rosa. I wish you success with your research.

Today I learnt that Isidor and Rosa Marx saved hundreds or thousands of children by the
Kindertransport.
