80 Jahre Gurs: Deportation in den "Vorhof der Hölle"

My aunt, Sofie Wolf-Fortlouis and her daughter, Anne-Rose Wolf, were interned at Gurs. They were from Karlsruhe. My cousins close friend (also from Karlsruhe, Hanne Moses Maier with whom I spent many hours, we also interned at Gurs.

My grandfather's oldest sister (Rosa STERN nee GOTTLIEB) with her husband (Moritz Moses STERN) and 2 small girls was interned there after Drancy.
They were from Karlsruhe as well.
They managed to sneak the girls out. The parents were deported to Auschwitz and perished there not long after. The girls survived the war.

Did you attend the Karlsruhe reunion in 1988?

No. I was not aware of it.
