Blanche Woodhouse (Carey) - Parents

I've been Googling and so far all I've discovered is that a Blanche Carey was married to Sir Thomas Wodehouse, 2nd Baronet, son of Sir Philip Wodehouse, 3rd Baronet. Blanche was the daughter of John Carey, 3rd Baron Hunsdon.

Is it possible that the Blanche of this profile is a misconnected profile for the Blanche who was married not to Phillip Wodehouse but to his son Thomas?

I personally think you are correct on this being the wrong Blanche. My own family tree research has her birthday likely occurring long before her "father" Henry was even born. Blanche had a daughter named Alice who had a son born c. 1470, so her family tree is all wrong.

Thanks for responding, Megan. I'm a very distant cousin on her lines, so I don't know them that well other than what I searched and posted last year. Hopefully someone from her direct line will do some more research and fix her connections. Otherwise, the pathways on Geni that include her are going to be incorrect.

Blanche is (supposedly) my direct 17th great-grandmother and I wish I could say I could find out more, but I do believe she was just merged incorrectly with another Blanche. The rest of the family's lineage also ends around that time and I wouldn't know where to start, unfortunately.

This issue was raised 2 years ago and nothing seems to have changed.

I agree with the previous comments that it appears unlikely / impossible for Blanche to be the daughter of Henry Carey and so have removed the relationship.

I dont know what to replace it with so will leave with no parents for now.
