  • Susannah BENNET(T) Blackmore Moseley (1595 - 1655) c. 1917? Somewhere in Virginia? I believe this to be a copy of the actual photograph exhibited by C. K. Bolton at the Boston Atheneum exhibit in Boston, MA, in 1917, and then used as the source for the engraving that was reproduced in 1918 in Vol. 1 of Bolton's book "The Founders: Portraits of Persons Born Abroad Who Came to the Colonies in North America Before the Year 1700". It's a small world. I've been researching the Burnet, Clarke, Foxe lineages back in England, quite a bit of documentation.
