Sir John Spens of Condie - Parents Need Sorting

Well, I'm back here again and still don't know if this is a distant ancestral uncle or not because of the conflicting parentage that has gone uncorrected. He's not a brother of my direct ancestor David Spens unless they share the same paernts. I hope someone who has more knowledge of this Sir John can sort out his parentage so the Geni pathways are correct. Thanks.

Found myself back here yet again and see that John still has conflicting parents. Can anyone confirm which set is correct? Thanks.

Well, here I am again and no one has addressed or corrected the conflicting parentage. That said, the link in the Overview:

states his parents are James Spens and Joanna Arnot. Doesn't even list a John as his father, but he has two fathers named John connected, Joanna Arnot as one of the mothers but not her husband James.

???

It would be nice to get these connections sorted so the Geni pathways would be correct.
