Bozena Lech the shared tree has more than 150 million profiles, and of course most of them are irrelevant to you now. May be in a year or so you consider more people relevant than you do now. Your relative added more than you needed and/or expected; I can't see any problem with that
Deleting profiles is almost never a good idea, and as Job pointed out you can control (to some extent) what you see.
And nobody needs permission to add to the tree
Bozena Lech Contact the other manager and politely discuss the errors, Include sources to confirm your thoughts with her, and ask her to do the same to correct the errors and make the tree accurate.
