Horace Hampton he was listed on an Oregonian article as a Goshen Pioneer. I'm not sure if that constitutes an Oregon Pioneer, though Goshen is a part of Oregon. He was born in 1860 in Goshen. I added him to this Project but if he doesn't fit in, I can remove him.

Private User, certainly does qualify according to the Oregon Genealogical Society:

You are eligible to apply for an Oregon Pioneer Certificate if your direct ancestor lived in the Oregon Territory or in the state of Oregon before October 31, 1872. If your ancestor arrived in Oregon October 31, 1872 through December 31, 1900 you may apply for an Early Settler Certificate.

I need to cough up my $15 some time. :)

Thanks Rob and Erica. :D
