My Grandfather was listed in a 1909 book listing lawyers in Southern California indicating that he graduated from High School in Lexington KY in 1900 then moved with family to Los Angeles and graduated from University of Southern California Law School before practicing law in Los Angeles. He was City Attorney of Colton CA when he died in the Spanish flu pandemic in 1919. Still don't know how or when or where he met my Grandmother Katie Sue Morris McHargue.
