Elijah Allen Brown - 1867 - 1944 - When Elijah was married to Hattie (Bovie) Brown he left her with three very small children to never be heard of again. I believe my grandfather George A. Brown knew some information about his uncle but was not willing to share any of it with his family members. The only information I did find written in a memorial book was Elijah died Lakeside Arizona 1944. We do know that Elijah son Edward Brown was very close to his Uncle Charles T. Brown and thought fondly of him. We do know that Edward never had any information on his father Elijah Allen Brown so I believe any information about Elijah was hush up and no one ever spoken of him in front of Edward. Through working on my genealogy did get to met two of Edward Brown daughters and learn their father never shared any with them about their grand father or did not have any to share. We think he married again and had another family mostly likely and the daughters express that they would be very interested in learning his whereabouts and meeting new family member it would bring closer and peace of heart to our family and cousins.
