It has been claimed that David Grant, the husband of Janet Lamb, is that son of Lewis Grant of that Ilk and his wife Joannet Broadie who was born at Edinburgh on 14 January 1693.
It should be noticed, however, that David Grant was the heritable proprietor of a small estate called Limepots, in the Perthshire parish of Scone, and that he has no known connection with Lewis Grant of that Ilk. Moreover, evidence of relationship has not been posted to the overview of his profile, and none has been found.
In view of this lack of evidence I propose that he should be disconnected from the family tree of Lewis Grant of that Ilk.
