First he was the son of Domelch verch Maelgwyn of Gwynedd and Aedan Mac Gabrain of Dal Riata (which is totally possible and plausible). Then he was the love child of Aedan Mac Gabrain and Ynge of the Britons whom he subsequently married, but there is no validation of this union. Next he becomes the chief character in the fictional tale of King Arthur....do you know how many people will buy this and propagate it as the truth without considering the facts? --shoddy genealogy and misleading information. SR

I would imagine many would buy into it.
It is like much of the diverse tales told of clans and old ancestors a pretty rhyme, yet some enjoyment can be found for some.

He very well could have been the inspiration of the fictional character. As their are several names that are a play on the people surrounding Arthur Mac Aedan. As for facts their are non at this time nor are their any solid evidence these people are who they are said to be either. Its quite the theory though. One i still find intriguing with or without facts...
Just some thoughts...
