I would suggest her maiden name be changed to Old Bear. They didn’t have last names but it clears up the way the current genealogy tries to make things fit.
Quanah is also my 16th cousin once removed. On looking over his profile I noticed several facts that were incorrect. I hope they can be corrected in time. I will not attempt correction as I feel a closer relative should do them. I do not want anyone offended.
Sounds like a plan Cheley! We are also 16th cousins once removed. I also have my DNA profile connected to Geni and several other genealogy sites so I am ready to go!! 🙂
Thanks I'm glad you liked the edits. I did a few. Next will be Quanah's. Sorry I've been absent, small family emergency. I'm back now! Message me if you need/want!!
I've done a lot of work with Quanah's descendants, I grew up with several of his Great Grand Children. I've gone about as far as I can go with the line. When we can agree on names and dates we can get a Curator to make them Master Profiles and lock the fields.
William Owen "Bill" Irwin I still feel like her last name should be Old Bear. WʉraTsaakupu was her father and Huparua was her mother. Her father’s name means Old or well preserved aka strong and enduring bear. Her mother’s name means bear in a tree.
