I'm just wondering if this David Terrell and his wife Susannah actually named a daughter Susannah after her mother AND a daughter named Susan, which is basically the same name. There is no documentation for the connection or a list of their known children.

The two sisters have different info and husbands, so I don't think they're the same person and needing a merge.

I also see this David with two sons named David So I'm thinking there are some gedcom upload errors happening here perhaps

Hi Debbie,
I think you are justifiably wondering. Me too. It appears that Susan and Susannah have the same birth year, but passed away years apart. Or maybe Sue never existed.
Furthermore, the info I've seen lists David Terrell Sr. as having two sons named David: one being David Sr. and the other David Jr. So, David Senior actually named his son David Senior? Doesn't seem likely. Or maybe he is his own father.
Overwhelming fish smell.
My own line flows from David Terrell Senior to David Terrell Junior to Edward Terrell to James Terrell to Robert Adams Terrell to James Robert Terrell to Myrtle Terrell Pearson who, happily, gave birth to my father, Houston Pearson.
Good luck sorting this out--it's far beyond my powers of ancestor delving.

Thanks for responding, Anthony. Hopefully one of the many profile managers will be able to sort it out. David Sr. isn't my direct ancestor. I'm from the line of his brother William Richmond Terrell, Jr., so I don't know anything about David Sr.'s family other than having noticed these questionable connections when I was tracing a pathway.

Well, I find myself back here again with the same unanswered question and no idea if the pathways are correct....sigh
