We still speak of the son Nikolaus born by Anna Lair(born Staudacher)? Is Erna his only child?
You saw photos of the anchestors of the Staudachers. Does your wife look like them? It was often a thene in my family, who would look like a family member. After a great uncle sent me these days an old photo of my grandfather at the German army I could see that ny daughter looks like him in her face; especially the nose.

Hello Kimberly,
after i published my familytree on geni.com I met Joe Bacon(husband of Jean Van Horn(daughter of Erna Creszenz Lair). He was interested in the Austrian anchestors of hsi wifes family he couldn't find before. So we had an exchange about our families, but he didn't want to give me the dates of his children and grandchildren. He sent me old pictures of the anchestors of his wife Jean.
Maybe you can help me to update the family tree of our family.
I found the obituary of your father in the internet. So I know that he was married to your mother Leona M.(Maria?) Roupp *1957 and has 5 children Nicholas L. Lair*1960(married to Janice Gemberling in Selingsgrove), Michael G. Lair *1974(Coconut Creek), Christine A. Lair(Selingsgrove), Kimberly Lair(married to Kevin Yohn in Middleburg) and Victoria Marie Lair(*19.4.1958+21.4.1958). He has 3 grandchildren named Monica L. Lair, Ethan E. Miller(*1993, in Middleburg/PA) and Abigail Miller. I don't know more dates like parents or birth dates of them; only from the obituary of your father, which I found in the internet.
I saw the picture of your father and it looks like the picture of my Austrian uncle Guntram Staudacher.
I don't know much of your cousins, which I would like to fulfill.
Is Jean the only child of Erna Lair? Elsie Lair's daughter Maria Geralyn Sprauer was married twice? To whom was she married first? Her children are Jacob J., Jenna M., Jerrica and James W. Erwin. I don't know the name of Jerrica's second child.
To whom is William A. Sprauer married?
When is Edith Lair born? Who is the father of her first son Steven Louis Lair? When where her children Britt Ole Stock and Sally Adrianne Stock born? Are they both parents? What do you know. about the descendants of Steven Lair? I read only his obituary online.
Maybe you can send me a family photo of your family.
Your grandfather Nikolaus Lair had 11 siblings as well as his sister Maria Ruef(née Lair) had 12 children and died 5 days after the birth of her 12th child with only 40 years.
My great grandfather Alois Staudacher born in Oberhofen(Tyrol), where all his anchestors lived before and he is burried did family researches. You can see the original family tree in the museum in Oberhofen. The home of the Staudacher's don't exists anymore, but on the foundatation the descedent of the last owner Anton Staudacher, his grandson Karl Staudacher built in Oberhofen a house for his wife Huberta and his three children Sebastian, Florian and Stefanie, who I visited with my family in Oberhofen many years ago, when his father Josef Staudacher was still alive. I also me the oldest brother of Karl;; Anton Staudacher; who is living in Innsbruck. He sent me some old family pictures of our family and is very interested in family investigation. I'm connected with him via Messenger of Facebook
This summer; end of June; the both granddaughters of my Austrian Aunt living in Canada will come for the first time to Austria to meet their Austrian relatives.
My Austrian father emigrated many years ago to Germany. So I grew up in Germany and I'm living now in a village in Northern Germany near Bremen.
I could give you name and addresses of Austrian relatives you might visit in October.
I haven't thought to meet another relative of Joe Bacon, but I'm happy to hear from you and I hope to hear from you soon.
Yours,
Christine Staudacher
