at present if anyone would like to correspond with me, send it (yes , snail mail temporarily) to Auvis Smith Paradise, P.O. Box 295, Austell, GA 30168. I'd love to compare what I've heard from my Daddy and his first cousin (who missed the boat on some information she gave me); along with data from kin I've met from CA and TX and GA and Linda Cheek's books as well as Woody Kelley's (he did the book on the Kennemers although he was just an in-law.... ) I do believe that one or two of the Allgoods came to GA as it isn't a common name and settled in North GA. During WWII we had an M.D. who, due to doctors being drafter, made housecalls almost anywhere and I do not know his given name but Dr. ALLGOOD lived in Scottdale, GA in DeKalb Co., and his home basement served as an office and he still mixed his own Rx's; another M.D. was Pierce ALLGOOD who settled in Cherokee Co., GA, I believe and practiced at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Allgoods and Kilgores were intertwined somehow but I never heard my Daddy mention the Kilgores. Oh, yes. Through my Brockman line, I am 16th cousin or something to Tallulah Bankhead. Her mother was a Brockman and one item read we are also kin through the Bankheads! Wow! Related to Tah-Lu!!!Her name was, indeed, Tallulah Brockman Bankhead and they were from Jasper, Alabama as well as SC later. He mother died when T. and her younger sister were young. And there were two US Senators, I believe it's two, Bankhead. One whose project was the Bankhead Highway that begins near, I think, Charleston, SC and ends near Memphis, TN. Y'all check your maps for specifics on those cities. A. Paradise (Mrs.)
