James Austin - If he’s the one described here - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Austin-8069 - cannot have been the child of John Austin of Stamford died in Connecticut.

Connecting James as son of John Austen of Goudhurst where locations match …

Uploading all documentation for this family-

Proof of:

John Austen of Goldhurst two wives.

1st wife- Margaret Austen, daughter of William Austen married John Austen on Feb 4, 1600 St. Mary the Virgin, Goldhurst, Kent, England- she died and was buried at St. Mary the Virgin, Kent England Apr 2. 1608.

1, John Austen 2. Alexander Austen - any children born before her death April of 1608

Note: online trees have his son John Austen as married to Katherine Bourne, she was his step-mother- hence caused the confusion. As well as not having the proper documentation for this family.

He married his 2nd wife Katherine Bourne May 10, 1610 at St. Mary the Virgin, Goldhurst, Kent, England.

All children Born after May 10, 1610 would be their children.

All Birth records will be uploaded for all children as proof of lineage.

I'm working and uploading all documentation

I can't take all credit for this documentation, it came from my wonderful Austen cousin's across the pond.

Our Geni profiles are a bit wonky and they would like to see them correct.

No he's not that John Austin --- different one

His father was Richard = you have all connected correctly, thank you.
