Joanna SiKen/SiKeen surname in the Assumption Church marriage with Philip Reuten and is consistent with the marriage record for their son Stephen Reuten to Innocent Pun, the 1782 record of her earlier marriage to Felix Rozells, as well as with the 1788 census, so where does the "Sikorioum" come from? One possibility is that it is a product of misreading of the record of Stephen's and Innocent's marriage. What might be read as something like "Sikorium" might actually be "SiKeen oriundus ex hac insula" which is Latin for "SiKeen native of this island". The section of the sentence being "Stephen Reuten the legitimate child of Philip Reuten and Anna SiKeen native of this island".
