William van Vredenburg born at Rotterdam1581 died Delft June the 14th 1606, Maria daughter of Pieter van Wallenburg, Burgomaster of Rotterdam married Maria van Varick died at Delft, from this marriage –
Adrian van Vredenburgh b Delft 1607. --- Doctor of Law , died in Delft 28th February 1652.
By his second marriage with Vara van der Graffe he had two sons

Jacob van Vredenburgh --- van Adrichen ---b 1643 Doctor of Law Burgomaster of Delft Babzur & Dykegraef of Delft…. In 1708 he became Deputy of the Generaliterts – Rickenkammer and died 5th October 1714
• Note Jacob van Vredenburgh surmounted his own family arms by those of Adrichen a serpent standing erect on a blue field with its tale upward crossing over the body—his descends pesu ovrd the Adrichen Arms, using only their own coat with the double headed eagle of the Boeleus there maternal ancestress.
William Isaacsen van Vredenburg at one time in the Dutch military service in the Dutch West Indies Company, emigrated to New Amsterdam, now New York in 17th of May 1658. In the Dutch Records of this town there is the following entry “ List of the early emigrants from Old Amsterdam to New Amsterdam in the abord de Vergulde Bever [Gilded Beaver ], May 1658, William van Vredenburgh of the Hague”. In another entry we find that he was living 1673 near the fortifications of the New Orange, and was with several others “ ordered to demolish his house and remove, the site being required to complete the fortifications “. Compensation being given ‘ for the trouble and loss incurred “ – he subsequently settled at Esopus.
The said William Vredenburgh married the 19th October 1664 at New York Appolonia Barents [ b January 29th 1645 at Esopus, Ulster, New York d after 1721 in Rhinebeck Duchess County ] daughter of Barent Jacobsen Kool & Marritie Leederds de Grauw and “was the Ancestor of the Numerous and different branches of van Vredenburg’s settled along the Rareton “ [ possibly New Jersey ]
