One of her descendants shared a photo of Polly and her husband Link in a research group on Facebook and said Polly's maiden name is Bunch. I didn't ask her any questions about it since that's not what shows here on Geni, but I did Google and found this:

shows her parents as Isaac B Bunch Sr and Mary (McGee) Bunch.

I don't know the lines, don't know where the Patterson comes in if her mother wasn't a Patterson. The Wiki link above even states she was formerly a Patterson but shows the Bunch connection.
