Easter Goforth (Heifner) - Conflicting birth location:

In the 1850 U.S. Federal Census, she was listed as being born in Tennessee.

In 1860, she was listed as being born in Tennessee.

In 1870, it was Tennessee.

In 1880, it was North Carolina.

On her daughter Hulda's 1915 death certificate, it says Hulda's mother was born in Polk County, Tennessee.

So I'm inclined to say that the North Carolina mention was a fluke, and that she was probably born in Tennessee. But let's see what others have to say.
