@ Burris woman would need to have married a "Ross" in late 1790's, then gave birth to a son between August and October 1815. Then gave the son the first name "Burris" in honor of her maiden name. Hence creating "Burris Ross". (note: some may say the answer is Catherine Morgan Burris, who bore Andrew Burris Ross in early-1815. However, due to specific time of birth and much later death, this is definitely not the Burris woman/Burris Ross I'm seeking). "My Burris Ross" lived in Harrison and Crawford Counties, IN and died in early-December 1857. Any help or advice you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated!
