"Sarah's use of two maiden names has given rise to the erroneous belief that William was married twice in Australia. Sarah's father was John Mernagh, an Irish political exile, but it appears that a Gillespie family had raised her. No record of Sarah's birth or baptism has been located, but her death certificate places her birth around June 1816. She has been confused with Bridget Mernagh, John Mernagh's second daughter who married Patrick Farley in 1828."
Any input on whether it's appropriate to reflect this on the Geni record?

William Valentine Maybury, Convict "Bussorah Marchant" 1828 1799-1883
married Sarah Maybury 1816-1900 (daughter of Mary (Johnson) Mernagh / Mariner - Gillespie - Tutty, Convict "Tellicherry" 1806)
married Bridget Farrelly - Farley 1812-1900 (daughter of John Mernagh / Mariner, Convict "Tellicherry" 1806 and Mary (Johnson) Mernagh / Mariner - Gillespie - Tutty, Convict "Tellicherry" 1806)
I have managed to confirm Bridget marrying Patrick FARLEY
But I have not been able to confirm that Sarah Maybury is the daughter of John and Mary (raised by Michael)
Her death record in 1900 lists her parents as John and Elizabeth
I haven't been able to find a birth record or a marriage record for her yet.
Leanne M (Volunteer Curator - Australia) 🇦🇺,
I believe the rootsweb page states that Sarah's birth record has never been found.
Likewise, the marriage documentation, with some disparity in the reported dates.
This info I have only gleaned from rootsweb.
We know that death records are only as good as the informant, and that can't be first hand.
That is a good question, Leanne.
I wonder if this one quote from the site gives some idea...
"The stories of these individuals and other Maybury families are told in greater detail in the chapter, "The Mayburys of Australia and New Zealand", (edited by Mike Smithson) in our book The Mayburys, published in 2011."
After reviewing the changes (thanks Leanne M (Volunteer Curator - Australia) 🇦🇺) I came up with one significant question.
Did Bridget really love to 112 years?
Maybe there is someone reading this that has better info on Bridget's death, currently reported as 1925 (as the possible registration)
