I know his death record says b 1794 and d1864 but it is wrong on "Find a Grave", it was transcribed incorrectly. Look at the pictures of the tombstone. One can easily see how the numeral 1 could be confused with a 4. But if you read the rest of the epitaph, one can see the reference to 11 months which of course would be nonsense if it said 44 months because 12 months makes a year and they would have gone up a year and started back at 1 month for additional age. This is corroborated by his wife, Mary's death record that states John Rambo her husband b. 1791 and d 1861. Additionally that is corroborated by Aaron Rambo's records showing John Rambo, his son was b1791 and d1861.
