Hester Ellen Yeisley was Morgan C. Dyer's secnod wife, Adeline Bell Dyer passed away in 1855 leaving two children and husband Morgan C. Dyer behind.

Hester and Morgan started their marriage in Elmira, NY, with Hester helping to raise Morgan's first two sons (Winfield and Morgan) and they expanded their family by having their own son by the name of George Washington Dyer born April 5, 1870.

Morgan ran a blacksmith and foundry business originally with a partner John B. Bratt, but reflecting him as sole proprietor in a city directory in 1857. The family was living at 28 South Water Street. At that time the Foundry was at 113 Market Street.
