There were two Captains of ships that transported people from Europe and other places to the new colonies. These Captain's names are Captain Gabhart, and Captain Ohlinger. Ohlinger had a daughter, Maria Barbara Anna, who married a Gabhart. Their daughter born a Gabhart, changed to Gabbard when arriving in colonies, married a Kirschner, Jacob, who altered his surname to Kershner.
