John Napier of Swire - Contradictory Info

I just put some notes in the About section.

One thing both sites I listed are in agreement about is that father Archibald didn't have a son named James, so I removed the (or James) notation on his name.

The contradictions are:

1) one site lists John as the son of Catherine Douglas and the other site lists him as his father's son by his second wife who was a Crichton. The same info already existed in father Archibald's About section but didn't connect the Crichton wife as this John's mother. There isn't any info in Archibald's About section to indicate proof of Catherine Douglas as this John's mother.

2) the second link states that father Archibald died in 1521 instead of 1529 as listed on his profile and, again, that info was already in the About section of Archibald's profile.

Anyway, lacking proof to the contrary, it seems this John is connected to the wrong mother.

The only place I found a son named James for Archibald was on this site

which is usually pretty good about having sources but I have in the past found some of the listed sources to be unreliable. This seems to be one of those. The source provided for a son named James goes to this site:

where I didn't find anything about these lines of Napier family posted. I did a site search and this is all that came up for the surname Napier:

Regarding this John, his Overview states:

"States that John's father Archibald married 3 times and lists six children by Catherine Douglas, again no son James. However, this site lists John of this profile as the son of Archibald's second wife who was a Crichton."

So having him connected to Catherine Douglas as his mother is likely giving incorrect pathways on Geni, unless there documentation proving Catherine Douglas was his mother rather than the Crichton wife whose name I've seen on other sites as Elizabeth Crichton.

Assisting making sure his parental connections are correct would be appreciated. Thanks.
