A little wild that something would change quickly? Was the kit withdrawn from the project?

https://www.familytreedna.com/public/Parkins-Perkins?iframe=yresults On September 14 I do not see a kit naming John Pound. (He’s clearly on the screenshot!)

Haplogroup I, Group 1, I-M253

Erica Howton he is still there...one of my great grandfather

Oh I see what you mean...hhmmm

He is not the John Pound of either of the John Pounds formerly discussed. He is a different man said the Pounds ' FTDNA Admn.

Does the screen shot still apply or not?

It applies to the separate John Pounds of the profile in which it is the avatar, yes. It is a different John Pound than John Pounds of Farham according to Lee Pounds,

I understand he’s a Pound that can get mixed up with other Pounds, we need to keep this line separate.

What it looks like is that the Perkins FTDNA project had had a kit, descendent of this John Pounds, and it matched with Perkins Haplogroup I, Group 1, I-M253.

But it’s not there any more, so no one can compare that kit.

My question is - was the kit removed because he’s no longer thought to match Perkins, or for unknown reasons?

If its the former, we need to remove the avatar as no longer relevant.

If its the latter, descendants should find more testers to confirm the missing kit results.

Can anyone ask the project administrator?

Also I’m updating the screen name because can’t confirm.

If John Pound’s dates were 1645 - 1727, as per the “about,” he cannot have been the father of Elizabeth Driggers born 1637 according to the original entry by the original manager.

If we cannot find confirming data that changes that 1637 birth date, she should be disconnected as daughter of this man.

I couldn’t undo the original, so removed the birth date for Elizabeth Driggers and recreated Elizabeth Driggers as per the original entry.

These gals are moving around too much.
