Unable to change view

I am assisting a friend with adding her tree to Geni. I have been on team viewer to assist with the fact that she can only view Ancestors and not Descendants and her view is "left to right" and not "up and down". When clicking on the "gear" there is not an option to change ancendants / descendants. Please help!! Thanks in advance

To switch it back, look in the lower right hand corner for a button that looks like a tree diagram that goes up and down.

The left and right view only ever shows 4 generations of ancestors from the focus person.

Many thanks, our Team Viewer icon was "hiding" the tree button and although I could move the page left and right, it remained hidden. We have sorted it out now. Many thanks. Regards Patricia
