I am a descendant of John Huggins and Mary Carruth Huggins, and I just recently discovered information regarding his parents. I know there is disagreement about the wife of James Huggins born 1653. I have seen the documentation of marriage between James Huggins and Priscilla Homan (or at least someone named Priscilla). My question is, how do we know for sure that is the right James Huggins? The marriage was in London, and it appears that same couple had a child names James born in London in 1684. I'm not saying it's impossible, but surely there is more documentation to prove that this Scotsman who later was part of the migration to Northern Ireland spent that much time in London. I'm probably missing something, and that's why I'm asking.
