It would be nice for curators to tell complete and true stories that include the children that were also birthed from the enslaved and their slave owners.

He also had a daughter named Maria with Arianna Carter. It's sad that even today, people continue to leave us out of the story of history when its right in your face.

Hi Aisha LaDon,

Please don't blame the curators for this. As far as I can tell no curator has ever touched that profile. There are a couple hundred curators and over 230 million profiles on Geni.

It's a collaborative site -- go ahead and add them! (with your cited source is best)

I don't blame anyone specifically, especially not this profile. It's just disheartening when you find your relationship with people cut off and not mentioned. It's very hard for us to find connections, to begin with. My rant was frustration. I apologize.

There are many profiles where they ask you not to change or add or make changes. So I don't touch what's not mine. It takes a lot of years and hard work, and I know things have to be verified.
