Mavis married Walter Hay Reid in NZ then in 1954 married Gordon Charles Peat in Brisbane, Queensland. Her only son was Graeme Wallace Morgan Reid born 31 March 1940 in Wellington ,NZ and he now resides in Australia and is contactable on e-mail "rainbows.end@westnet.com.au"
