And the note in her banner says that her parents are unknown. Right now, John Hardy of Isle of Wight and Olive Hardy I put John's will on his profile from Wikitree and source. His Lucy marries someone else.

Also, Olive is showing two husbands and I think that John was her only from what I am reading. New line for me to explore, but it sounds like a lot has been written.

Yes, that’s a confused / disputed family. Hopefully the MPs are based on published articles. I will disconnect anything that doesn’t match and apply more locks.

Reminder, the rule of thumb is no middle names until 1800 or so. If you see them, you know something may be wrong. In Olive’s case, Richard DeHardy is way, way wrong. Also … GEDCOM!!!

And no “ladies” in Colonial America although there were plenty of “gents.” So -Lady Elizabeth Lucy Flowers - not so much.

By the way - this Hardy family was distorted by Virkus, so don’t veer from the MPs without a thorough examination & discussion.

Erica Howton, this is what I thought. Not likely the way it should be. I just found these lines in my tree and wondered aloud. Found the discussions. Looks like a lot of work had been done before and gotten undone. Thanks Erica Howton. These lines are not something I want to mess with beyond trying to find some primary sources. :-)
