Elizabeth Jovanceau d/o John and Mary Jovanceau. (Has also been referenced incorrectly as "Gee Vance" in a family history and Jvance in census.)
Older brother and family moved with widow Mary to Illinois, shortened name to "Vance", others apparently did also. Online info unsourced says the family came to US from Cuba, possibly some children born there. 1850 census Coffee Co. TN says Elizabeth born TN, "30" yo.
Smith Co. TN records have land and other records, some of which I have.
