I was recently given some information on my mom's family (O'Dell) which traces her ancestry back to Abraham (1781) and Sarah Breeding via Levi, Cephius French and Burley Royal, who was my grandfather. Mom is Wilma Jean O'dell Wolfe. I've never done any research in family genealogy but got interested to trying to trace mom's ancestry back further after I was given her family information. I've searched the internet via the various free sites. However, it seems that everything I've found ends with not definitively knowing who Abraham Odell's parents were. There are a couple of sites that show a listing for Abraham's parents but when you look at names and dates, they just don't seem to make sense or be plausible. I see that the notation in Geni states that "no path found to Abraham Odell" but I wondered if anyone is aware of any additional information on who Abraham's parents might be.
