This is a much slimmed down version of a detailed message to Geni curators asking for their help.

On the above tree, Marianna Kemény nee Lazsánszky is shown with 2 husbands, both of whom appear to have highly similar identities. Marianna’s great grandson Andras has no knowledge of his great grandmother being twice marriied, nor of his great grandfather (Jeno AKA Jakab) ever having a Germanic identity, or of his grandparents ever having any half siblings. I therefore have to ask if anyone can provide a link to any archival source that would identify EUGEN Kemeny as an ADDITIONAL husband of Marianna rather than a duplicate of Jeno who is officially confirmed as her husband in Hungarian records?
In my opinion, the two are just duplicates of each other which should be Hungarianised and then merged, but a curator has locked both profiles and left a message suggesting that a merge would be inadvisable.
So can anyone can help solve the problem one way or another by contributing links to additional sources containing further information?
